A finales de noviembre de 2023 nos dejó intempestivamente Kevin Walker, mejor conocido como Geordie, cuya carrera como guitarrista y compositor estuvo íntimamente ligada a la de la brutal banda post punk inglesa Killing Joke

Un infarto fulminante se lo llevó a los 64 años. Desde entonces, teníamos este programa especial póstumo muy pendiente.
Geordie fue parte insustituible de Killing Joke y junto al cantante Jaz Coleman, se mantuvo desde el primer día en todas las grabaciones y conciertos.
Con la banda construyó un sonido sumamente influyente que durante los primeros años se movió en terrenos ligados a Gang of Four, Public Image Ltd, The Pop Group, Bauhaus y Joy Division, y que luego en los 90 derivó hacia un sonido más industrial y cercano a formas alternativas al metal, con algunos proyectos efímeros como Murder, Inc. y The Damage Manual.
Centramos el homenaje en la primera etapa de Geordie con Killing Joke, es decir, de 1979 a 1990, con una brutal pieza final de 2003 junto a Dave Grohl
