El 2021 trae consigo finalmente el trabajo final, cocinado a fuego lento, entre dos entidades de altos quilates
Bobby Gillespie & Jehnny Beth – Chase It Down (Vídeo Oficial)
Una de las grandes y más bienvenidas sorpresas de 2021 es la colaboración entre el escocés Bobby Gillespie (voz y líder de Primal Scream) y la fantástica francesa Jehnny Beth (hasta hace no mucho líder de Savages).
El disco lleva por nombre Utopian Ashes y su lanzamiento está anunciado para el 2 de junio.
El segundo adelanto es el fantástico tema «Chase it Down«, que viene acompañado de un atractivo vídeo dirigido por Thomas James en blanco y negro
Chase It Down trata sobre un matrimonio (ficticio, pero obviamente con base real) marchito cuya historia se va recorriendo a lo largo del resto de canciones.
Beth y Gillespie se acompañan por los músicos de Primal Scream, Andrew Innes (guitarra), Martin Duffy (piano) y Darrin Mooney (batería), y Johnny Hostile (bajo), colaborador habitual de Jehnny.
