El tema escogido, entre tantos, es uno de los que posee mayor contenido social. «In The Ghetto», original del compositor y cantante texano de country Mac Davies, la cual habla de un joven que crece en el ghetto de Chicago y muere de un disparo. Esta versión fue incluida en el disco From Elvis To Memphis, lanzado en 1969. La canción ha sido también versionada por The Cranberries, Dolly Parton, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Mica Paris, entre otros.
