VIDEO RECOMENDADO DEL 1 DE SEPTIEMBRE, 2016
No podía ser de otra manera nuestra recomendación para hoy cuando el gran cantautor australiano Nick Cave y su agrupación The Bad Seeds lanzan el tema «Jesus Alone», adelanto de su 16vo disco, Skeleton Tree, anunciado para el 9 de septiembre. Es lo primero desde el anterior disco Push The Sky Away (2013) y la desgraciada muerte el año pasado de uno de sus hijos.
Este video (parte del film «One More Time With Feeling», a estrenarse el 8 de septiembre, día antes del disco), muestra a un Cave cantando de manera solemne, con la mirada a veces perdida y un tanto triste, mientras Warren Ellis (su mano derecha desde el abandono de Mick Harvey), dirige un pequeño ensamble de cuerdas. Mientras, ellos se observan a si mismos desde el otro lado del cristal, frente a la consola. Parece sencillo el video, pero conceptualmente representa una visión interior profunda, de un tema con una letra soberbia (cosa nada extraña en Cave).
