La legendaria e indispensable banda inglesa cuyo primer impacto se produjo en plena efervescencia punk con discazos indispensables como Rattus Norvegicus (1977), No More Heroes (1977) y Black and White (1978), se ha reinventado a través del tiempo y se ha sobrepuesto al abandono de su cantante y guitarrista Hugh Cornwell en 1990 y más recientemente del retiro -por jubilación- del baterista Jet Black.
Bajo la conducción del sensacional bajista J.J. Burnell y del teclista Dave Greenfield, el grupo llegó en plena actividad a 2020, pero la fatalidad del Covid-19 se llevó a Greenfield, a quien ahora JJ rinde homenaje con este emotivo nuevo tema «And If Should See Dave…»
Será, sin duda dificil sustituir a Greenfield, cuyos teclados fueron esenciales en el sonido de The Stranglers durante 45 años.
El estupendo vídeo fue dirigido por el venezolano -afincado en Miami, Florida, Vadim Lasca, y producido el también venezolano Gerónimo González. La actuación es de Helen Shephard.
